Orphaned Children Protection Network

An estimated 140 million children globally lack one or both parents due to death, abandonment, or family separation. These children face severe deficits in safe housing, nutrition, education, healthcare access, and emotional support, leaving them vulnerable to trafficking, exploitation, and long-term poverty. The dysfunction is systemic: detection is poor, institutional care is fragmented across countries and NGOs, and evidence of what interventions actually work is sparse.
