Her career has taken her across Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, the USA, and China, where she has consistently advanced scientific innovation and capacity building.

She is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of OTG Holdings Ltd and the founder and CEO of Crossfrontier International Ltd, East Africa’s only private-sector commercial laboratory specializing in virus indexing and germplasm conservation.

Lucy has an exceptional track record of strengthening laboratory processes, leading multidisciplinary projects, and mentoring professionals in the scientific community. Her pioneering work in establishing clean seed systems directly contributes to food security by ensuring farmers have access to disease-free, high-quality planting materials that improve yields and resilience.
